Chemcrete Plastamix is a plasticising/air-entraining admixture based on synthetic surfactants. Chemcrete Plastamix increases the plasticity of the mortar by the entrainment of controlled amounts of air.

It has been designed to produce a large, stable bubble matrix for ready to use plastering mortars. If required, it can be used in conjunction with Chemcrete MR1 to provide a retarded plastering mortar or in conjunction with Caltra Waterproofers to provide a waterproof render.

Chemcrete ME2

Chemcrete ME2 is a plasticising/air-entraining admixture for mortar, based on synthetic surfactants.

It has been designed to produce a small, stable bubble matrix that improves workability and frost resistance of ready mixed mortars while reducing bleed. Chemcrete ME2 is generally used in conjunction with Chemcrete MR1 to provide masonry mortars for laying that remain workable for up to 48hrs (depending on the dosage of Chemcrete MR1).

Chemcrete E110

Chemcrete E110 is an air-entraining agent based on neutralized Vinsol Resin and synthetic surfactants. The use of Chemcrete E110 promotes the entrainment of small bubble shaped air pores evenly distributed throughout the concrete.

The bubbles are disconnected and of even size and shape. Chemcrete E110 is ideally suited for use in structures involving large volumes of easily placed concrete, such as dams, runways, roads, tunnels and wherever protection from the effects of freeze/thaw cycles and de-icing salts is required.

Chemcrete C305

Chemcrete C300 is a range of combined water reducing and air entraining admixtures for concrete. The combined effect is varied on a scale of C301 to C309, the last digit denoting the approximate air value achieved in 75mm slump concrete using local cements, (i.e. Chemcrete C305 gives approximately 4-5% air entrainment). However, the combined water reduction means that the loss of strength due to air entrainment is greatly reduced.
